Hello! I am an artist and educator based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. My work is rooted in a deep curiosity about the natural world and a belief that creativity reconnects us with joy and wonder.

I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting and Drawing from Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design in Denver and a Master of Fine Arts in Studio Art from the University of New Mexico. My background in painting, drawing, sculpture, and installation has fostered a spirit of experimentation and play that continues to guide my creative practice.

During the pandemic, I took a job teaching watercolor, a medium I had never worked with (can you believe it!?) What began as a practical opportunity quickly became the foundation of my studio practice. I discovered that watercolor mirrored the way I wanted to experience the world: direct, spontaneous, and full of possibility.

Today, I divide my time between the studio and the classroom. Through workshops at Ghost Ranch, L'Ecole Des Beaux Arts, Meow Wolf, and my own studio, Magic Sky Watercolor, I invite others to experience creativity not as a pursuit of perfection, but as a way of reconnecting with the joy of making.

I've been featured in New American Paintings, Hyperallergic, and Pasatiempo. I've exhibited throughout New Mexico at Richard Levy Gallery, Lapis Room, Expo New Mexico, SITE Santa Fe, Smoke The Moon, and Cafe Pasqual's Gallery.
